 DeNooyer Chevrolet (Albany NY) and Redline Motorsports have joined forces to build and distribute modern day muscle cars through the DeNooyer Performance Divsion. DeNooyer is an established Chevrolet Dealership here in Upstate New York with a performance heritage that goes back 36 years! From the early drag strip days of the 60’s to today, the DeNooyer family has been always been associated with performance cars to high speed 200 mph racing boats. This new endeavor was well within striking range! With Redline’s strong background in performance fuel injected cars……………history repeated and the HTR lineup was born.

As a large Chevrolet dealership availability is easy. All cars are sold new with one of several base performance packages as well as a list of option equipment. Each car is custom built to order in numbered sequence and accurately recorded. 40 years ago when a few brave Chevrolet dealerships  where stuffing GM’s most potent powerplants into the Chevy line up, very little documentation was provided. Since we are in the modern era, we are able to preserve the builds on an individual basis.

For those lucky enough to currently own a Camaro..Have no fear..We also offer the ability to transforn your car into an HTR edition. Complete with documentation and complete serial number of build.

HTR-600 (LS7 427)

 

 

Package Profile:The HTR-600 is described as a great daily driver with outstanding power through the whole power curve. With the lightweight Titanium parts used in this world class engine, burst to 6800 rpms really excite the feel of the Camaro. The car’s lumpy idle will also bring back memories!

Built by hand

Assembly of every LS7 engine is performed by hand by a dedicated team member at GM’s new Performance Build Center. The engines are pushed through approximately 15 sub-assembly stations, where only the components and tools necessary to complete the station’s task are on hand. Tools such as electric torque wrenches provide repeatable accuracy for the engine’s precise tolerances, while the eyes of the specially trained team members provide intangible attention to detail.

 Team members are engine-build specialists selected from GM’s experimental engine lab, and they complete about 30 LS7 engines per day. Upon completion, each engine is balanced and subjected to a 20-minute hot test. It is then transported to Redline Motorsports.. They then bring it to the next level in Performance Upgrades and install it in the HTR600

Package Profile: The HTR-600R is a more aggressive performer then the HTR-600. Power is a bit more peaky and really pulls hard on the upper end. Idle quality is more pronounced and with the 3.73 rear gears and short throw shifter it can only be described like driving a car with the ole’ M22 “Rock Crusher” trans!

      Package Profile: The HTR-SS454 is the street brawler! With the big cubic inches, this motor unleashes all its fury down low in the rpm range. You want to be heard? This is the car! Its chest pounding idle speaks for itself. This is a weekend warrior package and is not recommended for light drives through the country!

      Package Profile: The HTR-750 is current king of the line up! Noticeable idle until the throttle is commanded where a scream under the hood converts into your body being pressed into the seat! Torque from 1800 rpms to redline is flat and never ends. This is a highway assault vehicle that will leave some of the heavy hitters on the market wondering what happened!
